ABOUT US

Founded in 1952, the goal of Newport Harbor Republican Women is to foster and encourage loyalty to the Republican Party, promoting its ideals and encouraging active citizenship.  We educate our membership and get out the vote.  We strive to promote the principles upon which this country was founded:  Freedom, Equality, and Justice.  And we work alongside the Republican State and County Central Committees for the election of qualified, responsible Republican candidates to office.

NHRW is the only Republican organization in Orange County that opens and maintains a campaign headquarters in the Newport Beach area for each general election.  We conduct voter registration year-round and organize get-out-the-vote activities during election time.

Among the activities NHRW offers are nine educational speaker luncheons from September to May at the lovely Pacific Club in Newport Beach, as well as regular current events action meetings in homes, and an annual social garden party with local legislators.  We provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors and foster outreach to youth.  We participate in Balboa Island’s annual family parade.  We publish a monthly newsletter, the Update, and maintain a Web site, www.nhrw.org.

Newport Harbor Republican Women invites you peruse our Web site, contact us with any questions, join our friendly group in any events that interest you, and participate at whatever level you find comfortable.  Please join us!
